firstly, i think pearl misunderstood my meaning. what i meant was that if u had already bought the food and cooked it, then u shld eat it. but if the animal's dead and it is not cooked, then dont buy it. simple enough. but then, theres still the dilemmaof the seller's livelihood. some poeple are forced to sell dead squid and such animals for a livelihood because they cannot find a job. if nobody buys the food from them, then they and their families wont be able to survive. in this more and more practical society, its hard to ghet a job without at least a degree. even if you want to be a hawker, you need money. as for cleaners and odd-job labourers, they are not always available. just like a coin, a matter always has two sides. sometimes, its not like we have a choice, its thecircumstances that forces us to make our choice.
